I’ll work with you to identify and understand your immediate and longer-term needs, to increase your self-awareness and resilience and to develop appropriate, practical strategies that enhance your abilities to navigate your life circumstances.
I draw upon a range of therapeutic practices that includes Talk Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness and EMDR, to address both “symptoms and causes” for general life concerns and transitions as well as fears, phobias and traumas respectively. Healing work and therapies related to individual and family relationships as well as with adoptees, birth and adoptive families are rooted in Attachment and Neuroscience theories.

Life Transition: Life is a series of transitions of both planned and unanticipated events. Changes in families, new additions, beginnings, endings, health, death, other life losses, grief, aging, moving can all bring challenges we’re unsure how to manage through. Even happy and natural events can bring about feelings that are unfamiliar or hard. Together we’ll focus on ways of understanding and living with new and changing realities.
